Fresh Students

Fresh Students for General Registration Guideline

  • Log in to https://portal.fcetpotiskum.edu.ng click on NCE Admission enter your JAMB Registration No processed to process admissions.
  • Ensure that all information provided on your online Personal/Academic Data forms are completely filled, as this is required for subsequent screening.
  • Under “Printouts” tab Click and print your “Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FCE/01)” if you are yet to do so.
  • Under “Payments” tab, click “Generate Transaction” button to generate your payment entry for “Acceptance/Screening Fee”. Then click “Get RRR Code” to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference.
  • Copy or print the resulting the “RRR Code” and take with you to any of the designated banks to make payment.
  • Return to the online portal, login, and click on Confirm payment (if it is NOT YET confirmed) to verify and update the status of that payment.
  • Once payment is confirmed, under “Printouts” tab, print your “Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FCE/02)”, and “Offer of Provisional Admission”.
  • Proceed for “Screening”.
  • On successful Screening, return to the online Portal, under “Payments” tab, click “Generate Transaction” button to generate your payment entry for “School Charges”. Then click “Get RRR Code” to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference.
  • Copy or print the resulting “RRR Code” and take with you to any of the designated banks to make payment.
  • Return to the online portal, login, and click on Confirm payment (if it is NOT YET confirmed) to verify and update the status of that payment.
  • Once payment is confirmed, under “Course Registration” tab, select and register your semester courses.
  • Under “Printouts” tab Click and print your “Matriculation Oath Form FCE/07” and “Course Registration Form”. Sign it and Provide it on the day of Matriculation
  • At this point, check your “Personal Data” and ensure that all required fields are completed.
  • If you require “Accommodation”, Generate a Transaction ID/RRR code for “Accommodation Charges”. After payment, return to confirm it on the portal and print out your receipt with your room Number on it.
  • Remember to check “Personal Data” tab and ensure that all newly visible required fields are properly filled.
  • Proceed to “Screening Office” to have your passport photo taken and uploaded.

Screening Exercise Sessions

Applicants are expected to come along with the following to the Screening venue:

  1. A signed copy of Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FCE/01)
  2. A signed copy of Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FCE/02)
  3. Original Jamb Admission Letter
  4. Original and Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  5. Original and Photocopy of O’Level certificates/Statement of Results (WAEC/NECO/SSCE/NABTED)
  6. Two Passport photographs
  7. Certificate of indigene ship/Citizenship from your Local Government Area.
  8. Letter of Reference from a person of reputable standing in the society vouching for your good behaviour

Applicants should Note:

  1. You are advised to clear with the Academic Office before proceeding to the Bank to pay Tuition Fees.
  2. You must update your personal Data form before paying for accommodation.
  3. Bank draft and Cash payment will not be accepted.
  4. Before generating a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) please ensure that your email address has been updated

Returning Students

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS (FIRST SEMESTER) 2019/2020 SESSION

  1. Go to http://portal.fcetpotiskum.edu.ng login and do the following:-
  2. Enter Registration/Password and click login in
  3. Click on “My fees/charges”
  4. Select “List my fees”
  5. Click on “+ more fee items”,
  6. Search for the appropriate fees (example: NCE II and NCE III first semester fees) and click on “process items”.
  7. On the next page select “Confirm Action” and click “Process Payments”
  8. You will be prompted with a confirmation dialog box, click “OK” to confirm you intend to pay for the item. (Note: You will not be able to pay your fees if you don’t click “OK”).
  9. A payment slip will be generated bearing the “Transaction ID” for the given payment.
  10. You will be required to use the generated “Transaction ID” to make payment using any of your preferred payment options as listed below.

Admission Requirement

Admission requirement NCE I

  • JAMB Minimum cut-off point.
  • Five (5) ‘O’ level credits, including Mathematics and English and the other three must be relevant to of choice.
  • The credits should not be at more them two sitting.

Direct entry (de) of B. Tech Admission Requirement
In addition to minimum of five ‘O’ level credits including English and Mathematics, candidate most obtain one of the following:-
Distinction, Credit and Merit in NCE/National Diploma (ND) or Pass in NCE with five years post-graduation experience/IJAMB with 6 point or above.
